CHAPLAIN & CLERGY PROGRAMS

Explore, learn, apply.

Disciples Seminary Princeton (DSP) has developed a program to provide continuing education for ordained clergy and chaplains to deliver Spiritually-Based Interventions into care for improved health and wellness.

The training program for ordained clergy and chaplains in Spiritually-Based Interventions will be made possible through philanthropic support provided by patrons, corporate sponsors, and partner educational institutions.

APPROACH TO TRAINING
During the orientation, potential applicants will be briefed on DSP’s four-fold approach to training in Spiritually-Based Interventions:
Intellectual — Explore the history, theories of mechanism, and current research in the emerging field of Spiritually-Based Interventions.
Experiential — Learn advanced Spiritually-Based Practices with the College’s world-renowned faculty.
Observational — Observation of the delivery of advanced Spiritually-Based Interventions. This represents a critical stage in practitioner development where students advance from believing to knowing through firsthand observation.
Application — Apply Spiritually-Based Interventions under the supervision of Board Certified faculty.
